michelle and barry are brilliant with my 2 cavies and one is disabled. she looks in on them when our shifts clash and when away on holiday. I would find it hard to trust anybody else with them

I used Galavans for the first time yesterday 30 March to look after my dog Sophie at our home. Michelle visited twice. She did try walking Sophie but Sophie refused due to her being a very timid dog. She was very well looked after and cared for. Michelle gave her tea and then visited again to settle her for the night. She also stayed both visits to spend a little time with Sophie. She also sent me texts to keep me informed which I was very grateful for. We will certainly use Galavans again if needed and will recommend to others.

We have used Galavan's twice now and cannot recommend highly enough! To have the peace of mind of knowing that your pet will be extremely well looked after in their own, familiar surroundings is incredible. To receive regular texts as well is a bonus. Fantastic service that cannot be improved upon!

Many thanks to Michelle and family for looking after my two dogs (Lily and Charlie) for 16 days/nights while we were away on holiday. Couldn't ask for better care, and got regular updates and photos showing them happy, healthy and having loads of fun. Michelle and Barry are true animal lovers.Our 2 dogs Jacko and Jamie were really well cared for in their home.Both dogs were eager to get into their home when we went to drop them off before our holiday .The dogs did not smell bad when we brought them home as they have done previously in other boarding kennels.The dogs had obviously been happy there and we have booked them in again when we go on our next holiday abroad.Thank you both for caring so professionally but to also give the dogs so much fun

Michelle and barry looked after our beloved quela. (Unfortunately she passed away recently). She loved them, and we felt completely confident leaving our german shepherd with them. I cannot praise their care and consideration enough. They are 5 star people providing a 5 star service always. Thank you both so much xx

5***** rating! Cannot praise them enough, we have had our Betty dog walked by the Galavans for 3 years now and she has had many sleep overs, there are not many people we would trust with our dog but we can really count on these to make it a home from home experience for our pet. Betty loves her weekly walks, she gets lots of attention and fun playtime with other furry friends. Absolutely brilliant and would deffo recommend to others. xxx

A massive "Thank You" to Michelle, for looking after my cat Alfie at my home whilst I went on holiday, I could never put her into a Cattery. Michelle sent me daily updates, photo's and video's which evidenced to me that Alfie wasn't so sad whilst I was away. I was able to relax and not feel guilty for leaving her home alone, my only regret was I had not found Galavan's Pet Assistance years ago. Again big thanks for the fabulous service, 5 star. just picked Dixie Dog up after another stay with Michelle and Baz and family ( 03/10 - 06/10) as always he is happy, healthy and smells amazing (thanks guys) its such a blessing to go away and know he is being treated to a home environment, lots of play time and love and no cages!!!!! dont think we could go away without you looking after him <3 x x x thanks again and see you soon x x x

Hollie stayed for 2 weeks in August, was really anxious leaving her, but needn't have been, she was well cared for and was welcomed into Michelle's family home, pictures confirmed this on FB, home from home. Thank you everyone at Galavans and see you again in the new year, Hollie and family xxx

I cannot thank Michelle and Barry enough for looking after our dog Sam for two weeks between 17th Aug till 1st Sept. I was glad to see the pictures on Facebook and to see how happy and well exercised he was running around with the other dogs, looking at the pictures we missed him more than he missed us, thank you once again for looking after Sam and making him welcome into your home also I would to add that I would recommend Michelle and Barry at GALAVAN'S to anyone x

Galavan's was recommended to me when i was looking round for a dog minder to have my dog for a week whilst i went on holiday. As soon as i met with Michelle i knew i had found the right person to look after him, she treats them as she would her own. The regular updates with pic's on Facebook showing me what a fab time my little Ted was having, seeing the great walks she takes them on, put my mind at ease. I will defo be using Galavan's again & would highly recommend them to anybody who is worried about leaving their pet. Be warned though your pet will come home absolutely shattered & just wanting to sleep!! Thanks again. x

Thanx so much for taking care of jaspar. He had so much to put up with as a young pup that we were scared to leave him. We had no need to be scared as he has been looked after so well he has grown up during our absence and is now so full of confidence it is unbelievable. We will see you agan very soon.

After contacting Michelle at very short notice, she agreed to take in our puppies Hattie & Hamish for an overnight stay while we were at our Sons Surprise 21st. She took all my worries away by texting and posting pics on Facebook. I can't thank her and the family enough for making our weekend celebrating perfect. Hattie & Hamish hadn't really socialised with other dogs. Now I have no worries about taking them out. They love it. Thank you Michelle & Barry I need worry no more when I'm going away for a weekend or a fortnight. Have already recommended you to friends.

we dropped our Dixie dog off at Michelle's last Friday for a long week end as we were going away for a family celebration. As it was the first time we had left him we were very anxious (well he is our baby and kennels were out of the question). On return Dixie is very happy and healthy, and on the journey home even cried a little!!!! Our worries were put to bed during he's stay with regular txt messages, and face book updates with lots of lovely pics. In a nutshell it was a true home from home for him with lots of care love and cuddles, and a chance for him to mix more with other doggies :-) So a BIG thank you to Michelle and Barry (to whom Dixie took a special liking to) and family, we will highly recommend your services to all and will be in touch soon re next holiday for our Dixie dog .....Again thank you so very much x x x

I had to call on Michelle to look after my 9 year old springer spaniel Rascal after my dad passed away.I was out at work 8 hours a day and this was to long to leave him alone. Rascal had been used to company all day and when I took him out he would sit down and would always want to go home Since Michelle has been looking after him he is a different dog .She takes him for walks and also daycare I would have no hesitation in leaving him with her she is very caring and goes the extra mile with regular texts and photosf.I cannot thank her enough I now have a happy dog again and would recommend her to anyone

Many thanks to Michelle for looking after our cats Spike & Oscar. Michelle is very professional, caring and trustworthy. She not only looks after our cats, she looks after our home as well. We get daily texts to say that they are okay, this enables us to enjoy our holidays knowing that they are happy in their own home environment and not locked up in a cage in a boarding kennel. Michelle looked after our three cats Molly, Nando and Benji over new year as Molly seemed to be getting more and more distraught each time we had to put them in a cattery. As an over protectice cat owner I was so pleased with the service! We got regular text updates and Michelle was even dedicated enough to carry out an extra visit when I asked her to at the last minute late on new years eve. She really went above and beyond - I would recommend Galavans to anyone and will definitely use them again.

I just want to say a big thanks to Michelle for looking after our choc lab Marley while we went on holiday. I had a great holiday knowing Marley was staying in a home environment and playing all day with other dogs, text message updates were also really nice to receive. We had to leave Oscar (17month old springer) for the second time in a month and having been in kennels we chose Michelle as we wanted him in a home enviroment. He was back home waiting for us when we got back and so relaxed compared to his stay in kennels. Wonderful service, Michelle and her family did a great job. Thank you very much from us all for looking after our lad.

Michelle is the definition of going the extra mile. She always does "that bit extra" when she looks after our 2 cats, when we're away. She understands that being away from your beloved pets is stressful so does everything to make it as smooth as possible. She always texts me as soon as she has seen the cats, and waits for them if they are out. She also cleans the house, if you ask her to! What an angel.nt. You can change my font, size, line height, color and more by highlighting part of me and selecting the options from the toolbar.
